WHO AM I?
Hi! I’m Ty Miller. I am a proud Florida native, combat veteran and proven leader. I believe my background and experiences will bring a unique blend to the Palm Coast City Council, and serve our city well.
As a local graduate (Go Bulldogs!), and someone who is now raising a family here, I have a strong desire to preserve the exceptional quality of life in Palm Coast. I believe that Palm Coast is a great place to live, work and play and I strive to keep it that way.
I also pledge to be fiscally responsible with taxpayers’ dollars. My education through the University of Florida’s Master of Business program armed me with a true knowledge and understanding of all aspects of business. In my current role, as a project manager for a large technology company, I have further honed my leadership skills and business acumen, and I plan to treat the city’s finances, obligations and resources as I would any project.
Having served our country, I know the importance of safety and ensuring that citizens feel secure. I will work hard to support our local law enforcement and first-responders. Specifically, I will ensure that the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has the resources it needs to protect our city.
I am truly honored to throw my hat in the ring for the position of Palm Coast City Council. I know that our city is at a pivotal point and many hard and difficult decisions will be made over the years ahead, and I truly believe that I can serve Palm Coast residents well, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that Palm Coast remains a safe, prosperous and vibrant place for all of us to enjoy.
MY PLATFORM:
Preserving Palm Coast's Exceptional Quality of Life: I am dedicated to preserving the unique charm and character of Palm Coast. As a graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School and now raising a family in the area, I will ensure that it remains a desirable place to call home for current and future generations. I will work hard to protect green spaces, promote sustainable development and enhance recreational opportunities for residents.
Supporting Law Enforcement and First-Responders: As a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, I am a staunch supporter of law enforcement and first-responders, and I pledge to provide the resources and support necessary for these brave men and women to effectively carry out their duties and keep Palm Coast safe. I will work closely with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office and other local agencies as needed to address public safety concerns and ensure that residents feel secure in our community.
Fiscal Responsibility: With a background in business and finance, I have a clear understanding the importance of responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars. I will prioritize fiscal responsibility and transparency in local government, working to eliminate waste, streamline operations and ensure that taxpayer dollars are used efficiently and effectively.
